Avenge!
No man who can make a
mind picture of what went on at Hongkong wants to think about long-range|
war.
He wants this country to get into the fight now.
"Remember Hongkong" can be our battle cry. While there is Nazi fanaticism left on the German side it should; be matched by the fury on
ours.
Germany plans HONGKONG is one reason
for fighting now. Here's another. It comes from Signal, the Fifth Column- ists' Own Paper, published in twelve languages for German propaganda abroad.
Signal has just been making a survey of Ger- many's revised plans for world war. This is what it
says:
"As soon as the Soviet Union has been dealt with,| Germany's enemies will already have half lost the
war.
"And, since Japan's entry into the war, we have been presented with a real chance (which seems to us almost too good to be true) of win- ning the other half of the. war, the naval war.”
